About our guests
- Dr. Donovan Schultz is a Clinical Neurophysiologist in private practice in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has 24 years’ experience in clinical neurophysiology and fields of interest include electromyography and nerve conduction studies, autonomic function testing inclusive of SUDOSCAN and tilt test. He also performs coma prognosis assessment on patients using electrophysiological techniques. Donoval Schultz holds BSc Honours degree in clinical pharmacology, Master of Science in medicine, Master of Medical Science in sleep medicine and PhD in neurophysiology.
- Dra Fabiola Prado : Trained in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University / Mt. Sinai Medical Center (USA) and Ph.D. in Education from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. She is a Certified Diabetes Educator and founder of postgraduate and master’s programs in Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, and Renal Disease at leading Guatemalan universities. Currently, she practices as a diabetes specialist at Diabetcentro, Guatemala City. An active speaker at national and international conferences, her expertise includes diabetes management, glycemic control, diabetic neuropathy, and nutrition. She serves as a speaker for Abbott Nutrition and consultant for P&G.
- Dr. Hani Naiem Ibrahim, FRCP London, MRCP UK, Consultant of Internal Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Founder and director of the “Diabetes and Neuropathy Clinic-Egypt” a center of excellence in the management of diabetes and its complications. Areas of research include epidemiology of diabetes complications, diabetic neuropathy, diabetic heart disease, diabetic liver disease, clinical lipidology, sleep medicine and incontinence.
- Dr. Prem Narayanan, MBBS, MD (Med), DM (Endocrinology), is Consultant and Head of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology and Medical Director at Ahalia Diabetes Hospital, Palakkad. He specializes in diabetic foot, osteoporosis, growth, and gonadal disorders. He trained in Internal Medicine (MBBS, Government Medical College, Kottayam; MD, Government Medical College, Trivandrum) and completed DM in Endocrinology at Banaras Hindu University. He has presented at international conferences including ESICON, DFSICON, and SPEEDCON, and authored multiple publications. Dr. Narayanan is an active speaker serves as Quiz Master and Rapporteur for the Endocrine Society of India, and is founder member and secretary of WISDEN.
